What We Do

Moore Recovery Center is located in Auburn and Prattville Alabama! We offer medically assisted Suboxone treatments to help opioid dependent patients break their addiction and get their lives back.

Why Suboxone?

Opioids target pain-blocking receptors in your brain causing the release of endorphins that mimic pleasure. Suboxone negates the effects of opioids by blocking them from activating these pain receptors. It helps lessen the symptoms of withdrawals and cravings.

How We Use Suboxone

Suboxone was developed with the specific intention of fighting opioid addiction, the medication was made to have a far lower risk of dependency than that of methadone.

Treating Alcoholism

Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) is a chronic disease characterized by a problematic pattern of alcohol consumption that leads to significant impairment or distress. Symptoms of AUD can include difficulty controlling alcohol use, continued use despite negative consequences, and withdrawal symptoms when not drinking.

Vivitrol (Naltrexone) is a medication used to treat AUD by blocking the pleasurable effects of alcohol in the brain. It is administered once a month and can help reduce cravings for alcohol. Vivitrol is most effective when used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes counseling and support.
